Eco-smart electric vehicle charging is now available in Australia through a range of Myenergi products provided by EVolution.
The United Kingdom-based Myenergi offers cost effective, sustainable, easy to use products allowing simple and automatic self-consumption of solar power.
EVolution says the products can reduce energy bills and become part of a more sustainable future. Surplus energy that is exported back into the grid can be as high as 80%, and Myenergi provides systems whereby 100% of that micro-generated energy can be self-consumed.
As a reseller and distributor, EVolution is providing the Zappi, Eddi and Harvi chargers to the Australian market.
It describes the products as a game changer in the EV market for solar energy.
Myenergi products are designed for the home or business and, in the case of the Zappi, will suit both smaller and larger electric vehicles.
All Myenergi’s range is IP54 rated and supplied with wall mounting brackets for installation.
Australia has the highest average solar radiation per square metre of any continent in the world, according to the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).
Solar electricity is becoming a large part of Australian households, so EVolution aims to enable consumers to live off a purely solar powered home.
For Victorians, the Government has committed to helping households cut their electricity bills through a Solar Homes Package, whereby eligible households can claim a 50% rebate off the cost of a solar PV system.
Any surplus power that may come from a solar or wind turbine system will be put back into the home, or in the case of the Zappi into your EV, rather than exporting it to the grid.
