Domino’s Pizza Enterprises will soon be using iLark Cargo e-scooters from e-Motion Concepts Pty for pizza deliveries in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
Smart electric vehicles (SEVs) from Brisbane-based e-Motions Concepts (eMCl have been specially designed as goods transport for last mile urban deliveries.
They are electric three-wheelers, with the first product available from eMC’s Electric Mobility Solutions (EMoS) business unit the personal mobility device iLark with seating and pioneering steering.
The iLark is fully compliant with federal requirements and Queensland legislation to be used legally in that state, similar to Lime e-scooters, the company says.
It has access to software platforms, which include fleet management that gives operators efficient route planning integrations to make it possible to optimise and do even smarter deliveries.
“EMC aims to develop a battery swap, battery recycling and solar charging infrastructure to reduce any perceived loss of productivity and energy costs,” it says.
EVtalk featured eMC late last year as targeting the personal transport market for mobility in urban environments.
E-Motion Concepts also appeared in the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) March 2020 Motor Trader Magazine.
