Burson Auto Parts keeping it green

Automotive parts, tools and equipment trade supplier Burson Auto Parts is partnering with Greenfleet.

Greenfleet is partnering with Burson Auto Parts’ parent company Bapcor Limited to protect the environment.

An Australian automotive parts trade supplier, Burson Auto Parts’ fleet of almost 1000 vehicles across Australia are carbon offset through Greenfleet.

Greenfleet is a not-for-profit organisation that protects climate by restoring forests through carbon offsets and donations and has planted more than 9.2 million native trees across Australia and New Zealand.

This is one of several major carbon offset initiatives being made across the Bapcor group of automotive aftermarket companies.

Burson Auto Parts is also taking part in a tree planting program, contributing to offsetting the carbon emissions of its national vehicle fleet.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Greenfleet to support native Australian local reforestation projects that provide a wide range of environmental benefits,” Bapcor chief executive Darryl Abotomey says.

“Our partnership with Greenfleet forms part of Bapcor’s strategic commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and taking action on environmental sustainability.”

Bapcor’s contribution so far in vegetating an area covers more than nine times the size of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
