Electric three-wheeler attracts interest

Electric three-wheel vehicle the Zbee is attracting a swarm of interest following its display at the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) conference and expo in Brisbane.

Urban mobility company e-Motion Concepts has an agreement with Swedish electrical vehicle manufacturer Clean Motion AB for exclusive sale and distribution rights of the Zbee, which has full Australian compliance.

The response to the Zbee at the expo confirms the company is on the right track, e-Motion Concepts executive director and founder Wolfgang Roffmann says.

E-Motions Concepts is also at mobility and smart cities event Urban Motion in Brisbane on November 19 and 20.

Meanwhile, e-Motion Concepts has appointed Harry Proskefalas as its chief executive officer.

“Harry will implement and drive our strategy with a strong emphasis on aligning with commercial operators including local transport, ride share, food and goods delivery, courier firms and local governments in delivering long-term sustainability,” Roffmann says.

Proskefalas says companies are needing to change to support sustainable strategies with reduced maintenance costs. “E-Motion Concepts delivers smarter mobility and transport solutions with cost benefit options and long-term upsides.”

The company was founded by Roffmann in 2016 and is dedicated to commercial solutions for the first and last mile transport of goods and people in urban environments.

It’s based at the Brisbane Technology Park.
