Australia’s first full composite EV the ACE Cargo will be on show with Teslas at the Red Energy marquee during the Formula 1 Melbourne Grand Prix on March 12-15 at Albert Park.
The ACE Cargo is also set to be a celebrity in Taiwan and South East Asia, featuring in a documentary on Australia’s response to climate change in A World Without Borders series.
It’s produced by Taiwanese SETTV which organised a special visit to Australia to cover the ACE Cargo global e-transport solution, ACE Electric Vehicle Group managing director Greg McGarvie says.
He says more updates are due before the end of March on the number of client countries seeking their own popup auto industry using the ACE Electric Vehicle assembly pod/smart pack solution.
The ACE Electric Vehicle project in partnership with ALDOM EV manufacturer brings a “shovel ready” technology solution for climate change which includes energy security for homes so they can run off the EV in the event of a power cut, McGarvie says.
He says the tie in with Red Energy is logical given the electricity company’s renewable power distribution to help drive EVs and energy management.
Earlier, Australia Post invited the ACE Cargo to demonstrate its abilities, the electric van also appearing at the February 28 Melbourne announcement of the Electric Vehicle Expo planned for October 9.
