A disguised electric vehicle undergoing testing in Mildura’s heat in north-west Victoria revealed by David Cao on Twitter has been confirmed as a Nio ES8.
“Camouflaged EV doing warm weather testing in Mildura. The Byton M-Byte maybe?” he tweeted.
But reports say it’s a Nio ES8 “high-performance electric flagship SUV” six or seven-seater due for delivery in China in March.

The EV was doing hot weather testing in Mildura.
The Mildura Rural City Council reports up to eight ES8s are being tested with about 30 Chinese engineers also in town.
