Mazda to reveal first battery EV

Mazda Motor Corporation will debut its first mass-production battery electric vehicle (EV) at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.

The EV will be the third instalment in Mazda’s new-generation line-up.

The new model focuses on Mazda’s human centric philosophy and making full use of the benefits of electric drive technology. Mazda Motor Corporation say it was designed to form a deeper bond between car and driver and copies its human centric design in the Mazda3 and Mazda CX-30.

Press days are October 23 from 9am to 7pm AEST and October 24, 9am to 12.30pm.

The show is open to the public from October 25 to November 4.
